Dr. Razia has obtained her MBBS from Medical College, Trivandrum, India. Later she did her post-graduation in the same institution. She obtained her MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, London, UK. Dr. Razia obtained her FMAS from WALS.
Dr. Razia’s most recent achievement is obtaining her Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine & IVF from the CRAFT Hospital and Research Centre, India.
She has over 15 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Well versed in managing normal and complicated vaginal deliveries, preterm deliveries, vaginal birth after caesarean and previous caesarean deliveries. She worked in a tertiary level maternity unit in Saudi Arabia for 9 years before joining NMC Royal Women's Hospital. She has gained extensive experience in managing vaginal birth after caesarean and has expertise in operating on women with multiple previous caesarean sections.
Dr. Razia has many publications to her credit and attended many international courses, conferences and workshops. She likes to keep herself updated in her chosen field by continually attending courses, conferences and workshops.
Dr. Razia is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London, UK), Member of FOGSI (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India), member of ISAR (Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction) and Member of the Word Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS).
Her special interest and areas of expertise are high risk pregnancy and labour ward management, obstetric medicine, preterm deliveries, infertility management, general gynaecology, laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Razia is fluent in English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu and Tamil.
