Dr Lara Koussayer is a highly skilled and dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with more than 10 years of experience in Abu Dhabi. She received her MBBS in 2008 and is Arab Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Koussayer worked 7 years in Corniche Hospital and 3 years in Danat Al Emarat prior to joining NMC Royal Women's Hospital.
In addition to her extensive training, Dr Koussayer has pursued further education in her field. She earned a master’s degree in Cosmetic Gynecology in 2019 from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, a master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine in 2020 from Hamerton University Hospital / NHS / UK, and a master’s certification in UroGynecology, Uro-Obstetrics, and Urodynamics in 2022 from NHS Trust.
Dr Koussayer has a special interest in high-risk pregnancies, Gynaecological problems such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Infertility and Delayed pregnancy, Cosmetic Gynaecology, and contraception. She is committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to her patients and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in her field.
