Dr. Basma Bashir is a seasoned Consultant in Family Medicine with a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to patient care. Her extensive background spans across various medical settings, making her a well-rounded healthcare professional.
Dr Basma has extensive experience and has worked in United Kingdom / London’s various hospitals and clinics for many years. She has worked in UAE as a Consultant in Family Medicine.
Dr. Basma completed her medical Bachelor’s degree in 1993 from Baghdad University in Iraq then went to United Kingdom in 1998 to pursue her further education and had her consultant degree / MRCGP from United Kingdom in 2016. She had comprehensive training that equipped her with a wide range of skills, as she specialises in acute and chronic condition management, minor surgical procedures, cancer screening, Diabetes, Paediatrics and women’s health. She believes in the application of evidence-based medicine in patient’s care. She also actively participated in teaching and learning sessions for medical students and junior doctors.
Dr. Basma's rich experience includes multiple roles in various departments including general medicine, Paediatrics, Accident and Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, contraception, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Dermatology, GIT, Respiratory, Psychiatry and General Surgery. Additionally, she has experience in joint injections and joint problems such as back pain, shoulder pain and knee pain.
