Dr. Asma has obtained her MBBS from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan in 1995. She then pursed ECFMG certificate from Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, USA in the year 2000. Dr. Asma later obtained her MRCP from Royal College of Physicians, UK.
Dr. Asma started her professional career as Resident of Internal Medicine at King Fahad Hospital, Jizan, KSA and later worked at Services Hospital, Lahore as Medical Officer. She held many positions such as Assistant Professor, Registrar and Specialist in various prestigious hospitals such as King Saud Medical City, Riyadh, KSA and Sharif Medical City, Lahore, Pakistan to name a few. Before joining NMC Royal Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Asma was associated with King Hamad University Hospital, Bahrain.
She has extensively worked in various departments throughout her glorious career and held key positions.
Dr. Asma is a member of Pakistan Medical Council, DHA and Health Authority Abu Dhabi.
She has attended Basic Life Support Training and holds a permanent certificate from the United States Medical Licensing Examination amongst many others.
