Dr. Amera Shewita completed her master’s degree in Anaesthesia and surgical ICU from Faculty of Medicine - Tanta University, Egypt in 2009. She completed for doctorate degree (PhD) in Anaesthesia and surgical ICU in 2014. She then obtained Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia from Montpellier University – France in 2017.
Dr. Amera specialises in pain management, general, spinal and epidural anaesthesia along with insertion of central venous lines.
She has over 10 years of experience in Anaesthesia at Tanta University Hospital, Tanta Cancer Institute prior to joining NMC Royal Women’ Hospital, Abu Dhabi in 2015.
Dr. Amera speaks Arabic (native) and English.
