It is very important that all patients are informed and educated about their condition, diagnosis & treatment options: operative or non-operative. Your doctor will discuss in detail any proposed treatments, including the benefits and associated risks of surgery at your consultation.
Once a patient decides to have surgery, a further detailed booklet will also be sent/given to the patient. This booklet includes details of surgery, pre-operative and post-operative care and any precautions including specific exercises after the surgery.
